Q. How accurate are the Pete’s Aircheckers?
A. The Pete’s Aircheckers are precision made (26-60 psi) for a full range of cars, vans, motorcycles as well as light trucks and are accurate to within 1 psi. Use the Tyre Pressure Monitor and travel with confidence.
Q. Where can I find the right tyre pressure for my car?
A. The correct tyre pressure for your vehicle can be found on the inside of the drivers door jam, on the petrol cap flap, in the glove box, or in the owner’s manual. Alternatively check the recommended Air pressure file on this site. Choose the Aircheckers that is closest up to the PSI rating that you require. For example, if your PSI Rating is 29, order 30 PSI
Q. How do I install the Pete’s Aircheckers?
A. They are simple and easy to use. Just remove your old dust caps (if fitted) and replace with the Pete’s Aircheckers. “Finger tight only” – do not use tools.
Q. What if my dealer or I need to remove the Aircheckers?
A. Be sure that the black “O-ring” seal remains in the chamber of the Aircheckers after removal. Check that no foreign objects have entered the chamber and that the clear acrylic top is in good condition. At this time, you should check the actual tyre pressure with a proper gauge and “top-up” if necessary. It is quite normal to lose 1 psi per month.
Q. Do I ever need to use a pressure gauge to check the PSI?
A. Yes, the Pete’s Aircheckers provide you with a convenient, simple, at-a-glance warning of low tire pressure only. Ensure that your tyres are at their recommended PSI rating prior to installing the Aircheckers.
Q. How often do I need to replace the Pete’s Aircheckers?
A. As a general “suggestion” you may consider replacing them annually although, they will normally last the life of the tyre.
