The RECARO SR-7F belongs to the RECARO SR sports seat line-up that currently consists of 3 models, the SR-6, SR-7 (F) and SR-11. All of them have the same seat structure, but each of these 3 models have a different approach:
The RECARO SR-6 is the model focusing on performance and sporty driving feeling. The SR-7 offers both sporty and comfortable driving, whereas the SR-11 focuses more on driving comfort. Each seat shape and the hardness of the urethane pad in each seat differ from the other.
The RECARO SR-7 is the right seat for people who want to enjoy sporty driving pleasure and long driving comfort as it combines both features. The RECARO SR-7 offers a good balance of the head rest part, the shoulder part, the back rest centre part and the seat cushion centre region. Finally, the right hardness and density of the urethane pad of the seat cushion and side support part complete these features.
The RECARO SR-7F is a variant of the SR-7, making getting in and of the car even easier by having a flatter but thicker seat cushion (30 mm more than the SR-7) and still offering side support. Additionally, the RECARO SR-7F has a deeper inclination of the seat cushion in comparison to the SR-7 and so maintains the pelvis and the lumbar support, the core function of any RECARO seat. Furthermore, the RECARO SR-7F is 30 mm shorter with a depth of 540 mm in order to avoid that the front part of the seat cushion interferes with the movement of the knee. Moreover comfort to the femoral region from the buttocks is increased by using a harder urethane pad in the seat cushion centre.
