At the “Pete’s Day Out”, the event held at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore on 16th of April, Pete’s also announced the formal launch of Bilstein suspension systems and Borbet Alloy wheels in India. Since their inception over 135 years ago, Bilstein has been a unique and driving force in the automotive suspension industry. Whether in the fields of motor sports, OE equipment or tuning, the name of Bilstein is synonymous internationally for top quality, maximum performance suspension systems. At the event, Pete’s showcased 18 modified cars including the 300 BHP Skoda Octavia’s, Skoda Laura’s, Maruti Swift, Toyota Innova, Mahindra Logan, Audi A4, VW Passat, Honda CRV, Mahindra Scorpio, the New Mercedes C Class and the BMW 3 series. Auto enthusiasts present at the event went on a thrilling ride on the modified cars and felt the adrenaline rush as the cars roared and zoomed.
These cars featured some of the world’s leading automobile performance upgrades including Pete’s tuning boxes, remapping software, suspensions, clutches, brakes, alloy wheels, air filters etc. The products utilized for upgrading the cars were mainly from PSI Motorsports, Belgium; Custom Code, UK; Bilstein, Germany; Green Cotton, France; Forge Motorsport, UK; H&R, Germany; Milltek Sports, UK; SPEC Clutches and Flywheels, USA; etc all of which are marketed in India by Pete’s. Most of these companies are world leaders in their categories. Their superior technology sets exceptional standards and many of these products are part of the OE in premium, high performance vehicles the world over.
